Inspirations From Nature
The Fire Lilly
Imagine a landscape where vegetation has grown dense, with trees, bushes, and other species monopolizing the ecosystem. Over time, this leads to an imbalance, with certain species dominating. To restore equilibrium, nature introduces forest fires to reset the ecological system, paving the way for a new era.
The fire lily (Cyrtanthus ventricosus) remains dormant underground for years, only emerging after a forest fire. As one of the first plants to bloom post-fire, it helps initiate the new ecological era by drawing in new species and fostering the growth of other vegetation.
In life, one could easily feel undesired, unfulfilled, and doesn’t serve a purpose within its scope of understanding. But, rest to be assured, just like the fire Lilly it patiently grows underground and waits for its time to bloom and only then will it reveal itself to kick start a new era.
